gilded copper statue of the Madonnina (lit.‘our little Madonna’)
which is the traditional protector of the city.
Milan’s two football clubs, AC Milan and FC Internazionale
Milano play every week at the San Siro stadium
which is also known as the Meazza. A free shuttle
bus operates from the Lotto metro stop to the stadium.
Europe’s fashion capital is found within four streets: Via
della Spiga, Via Sant’Andrea, Via Monte Napoleone and
Via Alessandro Manzon. All of the big names of fashion
can be found in this area.
